The secret to surviving Grindstone is knowing when to leave. Once the exit opens, the enemies become enraged and much more dangerous. Don't get greedy for one last gem if your health is low. Also, always try to end your path next to a treasure chest or a high-value target.
Players navigate a grid filled with different colored Creeps. By chaining 10 or more, you spawn a Grindstone. Picking up a Grindstone lets you continue your chain into a different color, leading to massive 30+ chains that can clear half the board in one go.
They act as 'wildcards' in your path, allowing you to transition from one Creep color to another.
