Office Fever is the definition of a 'flow state' game. There’s something incredibly rhythmic about running between printers and desks to keep the paper moving. It starts off frantic, but once you begin automating the tasks, it becomes a very zen management experience.
The visuals are clean and the UI is easy to navigate. Like many games in this genre, it can get repetitive after a while, but the constant unlocks keep you pushing for 'just one more desk.' It’s a great way to kill time and satisfies that itch for organization and growth. Definitely worth a download for idle fans.
Goat Simulator is a tech demo masquerading as a game. At 40, I find the 'it's broken on purpose' aesthetic a bit tired. It was funny ten years ago, now it just feels like a lazy excuse for poor optimization. That said, if you have twenty minutes to kill and want to headbutt a gas station, it does exactly what it says on the tin. It's mindless, stupid fun, but don't expect it to hold your attention for more than an afternoon.
Performance: Optimization is poor by design, leading to frequent crashes and frame drops.
Buy if: You want a slapstick physics sandbox to mess around in.
Skip if: You prefer games with goals, polish, or any semblance of a story.
Office Fever is a fast-paced idle management game where you start as a lone employee in a small office. Your job is to deliver paperwork to your staff, collect the profits, and reinvest in new desks, departments, and employees. As you grow, you'll unlock HR departments, IT support, and even more floors. It’s a satisfying simulation of the hustle and bustle of corporate life.
Satisfying management loop
Dozens of unlockable departments
Cute, minimalist art style
Idle income while you are away
Focus your first few upgrades on hiring an 'Assistant.' This allows you to stop manually carrying papers and focus on strategic expansions and hiring new managers.
Don't open a new department until you have enough cash to hire at least two employees for it, otherwise, the bottleneck will slow down your entire office.
Upgrade the 'Speed' attribute in the office management menu using the cash you collect.
