Dinsun Review
I’ve played Tower Defense games since they were just Warcraft III mods, and 'Galaxy Defense' is everything that’s wrong with the genre today. It starts off promising enough, but very quickly, you hit a massive difficulty spike that exists solely to push you toward the shop. The pricing is insulting—$70 just to remove ads and unlock a 2x speed? That's more than a full-priced AAA game on a console. For a mobile game with generic assets, it’s a joke.
The strategy is constantly undermined by RNG. You’re at the mercy of card drops and luck rather than actual tactical brilliance. Plus, the UI is a mess; when the screen gets busy, damage numbers completely obscure the actual units, making it impossible to see what's happening. There’s no 'save and resume' for long rounds either. If you have to take a call mid-game, you might as well kiss your progress goodbye. It’s a greedy, unpolished product.
