A bit different
Fri Apr 29 2022 when dis game was gudThere’s some things I like and some things I don’t like. One thing I like is that it’s different from the console and pc version. That also is one thing I don’t like but it’s new and it is a mobile version (not port), so I’m fine with it being different in a few places. The gameplay loop is the same. The horde mode is interesting but feels lacking. The defend mode becoming a set number of waves instead of a endless onslaught of enemies doesn’t give it the same “to the last man” feel but then again this a mobile version.
Now what I don’t like. The building upgrading and the materials cap. The building upgrading makes it feel like any other mobile game with a base you can build, edit, and upgrade. I prefer the console/pc version were it may have been really expensive but at least I’m not a building down for a time. Now the material cap. It is just so small. That also blends with the building upgrading. Basically I prefer the console/pc version of upgrading buildings and holding materials more. Another I don’t like is the loot boxes that take up a lot of time to open, and you can only have 4 at a time. I hate those, but with the uint and skill upgrading, I can see how they fit. The Console/PC version still is better in that regard though.
Conclusion, good take on Guns Up for a mobile version but too many mobile game trends. Also thank you guys for even making this. Guns up is one of my favorite chillax games to play.

Thu Jun 02 2022 trdrutrfuyfthtfhTop tier game, both on mobile and on PC. It still holds the same gameplay loop that the PC has, but only a few things I’ve had with this one. The material cap is a bit annoying, I preferred the PC’s version of it, but it still works because it’s a mobile game, expect mobile game trends. The loot boxes take time, it’s understandable, again a mobile game with upgradable skills and units. But it would be nice if we had more slots to keep boxes, or maybe just let us open 2 at a time? And maybe a small bug, when I was buying some munitions with gems, it was the cheapest option, when my internet had some lag it registered my gems as being used, but did not give me munitions, I would test this by buying more then turning my internet off but I wouldn’t want to lose gems. Maybe give it some kind of detection on if gems were used and have them give you munitions when internet is back up? But other then that bug the gameplay is as crisp as ever. Slight changes like defend being set waves instead of infinite (though I am a fan of infinite, gives me that ‘sole survivor’ feel.) All in all, you did a great job guys, it’s really faithful with some small changes to fit the mobile game genre. Heres to the top charts you are gonna get at some point and a successful future for Guns Up Mobile.

Fri Jul 08 2022 armedglensterI’m a long time guns up fan. I always thought it would be a great mobile game. Glad you guys didn’t disappoint. Years later lol. I’m glad it’s here. It is different in many ways than the console version. I am deeply saddened that the whole card system is gone, always enjoyed having massive amounts of cards I can fuse or save for a high stakes match.
I’m just starting off but I do have high hopes for the future of this game. In console I remember once you got to a certain tier, all you would see is sniper builds that would dominate on defense. It was nice getting obliterated by a bomber build occasionally. Though snipers are dominant here too, a smoke screen or two can offset that. So far pretty good game, nostalgia included. I always liked guns up for the competitive risk factor. One thing missing since the card system is out for mows is a wild card that offset a losing battle. Also I enjoyed being able to really think about the future match, and choosing cards to best help. Such as looking at the units they will use. Mobs? Okay I’ll use the flu card. Barricaded in, I’ll need more rockets. I don’t feel that with this version. Mostly it’s smoke screen, rocket, focus fire. Let’s go. Anyway sorry for the ramble. Hope this gets read, thank you for putting this game out, I’m really enjoying it.

I was elated to see the mobile version coming and have watched ODT’s videos far before release. I have so many things that I love about the game an some that I have beef with but that is to be expected.
To start with, I love that many of the same units are hear but are slightly different than the console edition. It give congruence without sacrificing the mobile feel of the game. I think the unit balances could be tweaked as some units are just so weak that they are useless. I would love to use more variety of units but the higher you go, the more you have to rely on a handful of units.
Also I like the fact that there is no card system. That was a real upgrade from the console version…. But speaking of the console, I much prefer the upgrade system. I feel like I’m being milked for every penny that the app can squeeze out of me and what you get for your money is WAAAAY overpriced. If I am going to pay, I want my money’s worth. I spend on apps all the time and even bought the last two season passes, but I just couldn’t justify spending on this one as the prizes are laughable….but having said that…you don’t have to buy to win. Just be ready to wait for WEEKS to upgrade your stuff.

Mon May 30 2022 LittleGalGamerHi, okay, to start, I’ve read many reviews. Some about it being “p2w” and even the devs acknowledge that some aspects do have you pay. However, it is fair for 3 reasons. One, pay or not, it’s fun. 1, I’m a level 30 player, been playing for a month or two. I do face players with commanders or commando’s. But in this game, it’s balanced like clash of clans, where if they pay to get units, it will equal out within a week or two, your then up against new opponents. 2, you can also buy crates you know. First, heroic crates can be purchased and unlocked with gems, and you can do your calendar events for free loot. It’s completely fair in the balance system. 3, most if not all items, cars, and units are obtained via player level, not credit card. The only 2 things I wish, is one, if you got/bought a heroic crate, there would be a low, but percentile chance, that you get a complete unit. And 2, that instead of your fort level deciding your building amount, you can buy more building slots via gold, because I often have excess gold, but nothing to upgrade. Either way thanks for watching my Ted talk, and I hope the devs read and acknowledge this. It’s not necessary for the to change, I just wish they read this and just think about this.
Great Game (plus Suggestions)
Fri Jul 15 2022 Xin Lei 😌💕I highly encourage people to download and try this game because it’s seriously a ton of fun. The gameplay is smooth and very unique, and when you began, the game is really rewarding. However, there are a couple things that I don’t quite agree with in the game. I don’t like how you have to farm for upgrade material like the books because they are time gated, plus getting them takes a lot of time too. I wish that we got more materials per play or just remove the battle token system entirely. I don’t want to be limited by the tokens and upgrade material because I can’t use my munitions to upgrade. I find myself overfilling my munition cap ever time because I can’t farm books fast enough. Then there is the problem with base building. It’s a great system if you are just making one base, but I love to test my own base and make new ones. I think that it would make all the players life easier if we are able to store different base layouts like in clash of clans. Having multiple base layouts would make it easier for me to test new bases and fine tune small details while I have backup bases at the ready. Those are really my main concerns. Good but…
Thu Jan 12 2023 dvurghOk I really liked it on the PC and console versions and I like it even more on moblie, but I have some complaints. I remember watching baronvongames/tactics and I thought when I saw the mercenary That “wow that hat looks cool” but when I got in game you could not change the hat! So I think next major update should get more customization to the units, because though the color of there uniforms are cool, it does not give the creative ability to change the units look that i see. One more thing (well two actually) it feels very pay to win in one sence. It took me from start of the game to just last week to get the RANGER. I have to get really lucky to get gold units and I only have one in my entire time playing. I think it needs to be a increase of the chance of getting units from crates and just over all make it not pay to win, because I find these people who spend money on the game (I don’t) and they got riot, mini gun guy and mercenary, and I can’t beat them. Last thing, oh boy the upgrading is not very good. It might not be expensive, but it takes a day or more to let it finish. So in my opinion, you should lower the upgrade time some how. It just gives me the crappy moblie game vibe when upgrading. But other then that I think the game is great so keep on doing the good work

Fri Apr 07 2023 Wesley GoldenSo I’ve been playing this top tier game for awhile and I have really enjoyed playing it. But I think you guys need to add some more features and content. Since console and pc versions are being entirely shut down you guys can do what ever you want with the game. Without having to worry about being compared to the other platform version. I think if you guys added like 3 base layout save slots, it would make the game entirely so much better! Don’t get me wrong the game is already peak but this would make it even better. Another thing I feel like you guys should add is like new structures. Like a bunker that can have your troops equipped into it. So it’s kinda like a sandbag but provides more protection. It may be a stupid suggestion I don’t know I’m jus throwing things out here. As far as I know all the structures in the game are bunkers, tents, AAs, mortars, anti-tank cannon, sandbags, and walls. Do you guys plan to add more? I think that would help the game grow as a whole for players to look forward to unlocking new structures. Anyway thanks for listening! Great game btw!

Really fun in the beginning, now it’s alright
Wed Jan 25 2023 Shibe_XDespite the title I actually really enjoy this game to a certain extent as I often find myself logging in daily. The biggest problem to me is matchmaking and overall base designing. Firstly, when it comes to matchmaking as mentioned in previous reviews it’s outright unfair as I fight and defend against people who are 10+ levels higher than me with units I that are leagues ahead of my defenses and defending units. Attacking these players can sometimes be fun and is certainly possible (if you get good rng from commander abilities) but the same cannot he said for defending. This leads to my second problem of base defense structuring; let me ask you this how is it even possible for me to defend against a player 10+ levels ahead of me with overall superior units when I only have a literal handful of defenses, the fact that I’m limited to a certain number of defenses is pretty dumb in my opinion, if I am given the ability to buy said defenses I should be available to place and utilize said defenses, I know the map is limited but this is demoralizing at best as I literally can’t fight back in the same capabilities as my opponents, if anything increases the defenses limit or fix the matchmaking pool, tldr fix/tweak base designing and/or fix matchmaking, still fun game and will continue to play 👍

Mostly I didn't review and post about the game, but I want to mention about recnet updated. the one reason why I liked it It has some balance at some points If ppl don't use much money, can enjoy without paying money. (Reaching at some points It is a bit hard to beat who paid a lot) also I paid some amount for fun. But I don't understand recent update's direction.
I watched the new there are new character comming on march, nerd scientist released wasn't that long but why making a new character?! Also rare item's showing up rate is super low. I know game company have to make money. I did another but similar concept game for a long time. The game also have some same issues I enjoyed it for a long time they keep released new characters at short period and then I deleted it the game because when the game making new character rather than making other contents that means there are nothing to enjoy and It feel likes a deadend.
I enjoyed the game for a long time still having fun with the game. As a one of the fan of the game, please consider the feedback.
