We have seen this exact drop-and-merge puzzle formula a thousand times before on mobile app stores, and Fluffy Drop does absolutely nothing to evolve the genre. You drop little cute objects onto a grid, watch them merge, and try to clear space before the board fills up. It is functional, sure, but it feels like the digital equivalent of empty calories—mindless, uninspired, and instantly forgettable.
As someone who grew up playing puzzle games with real structural identity and difficulty curves, playing something this aggressively generic feels like a waste of time. There is no strategic depth, no clever rule twists, and no incentive to keep playing beyond a few minutes of boredom on a bus ride. If you collect generic casual puzzlers, go ahead, but seasoned players should look elsewhere.
