Dinsun Review
As a forty-year-old gamer who remembers living through a lot of the pop culture epochs this game covers, the premise of Flashback Trivia immediately caught my eye. There's a certain comfort in testing your knowledge on retro movies, music, and events from decades past. For the first twenty minutes, it's an enjoyable little nostalgia trip that hits all the right familiarity buttons.
Unfortunately, the shine wears off quickly when you realize the question pool isn't as deep as it needs to be, leading to repeats far too soon. Worse yet, the monetization model leans heavily on intrusive ads that interrupt the flow of the quiz. If you love trivia and want a quick time-killer for your commute, it's passable. But veteran gamers accustomed to polished, high-value experiences will likely get tired of it before long.
