Enigmo is a certified classic that feels like a masterclass in early mobile game design. As an expert gamer, I appreciate how it captures the 'tinker-until-it-works' satisfaction of games like The Incredible Machine, but translates it perfectly to a 3D touch environment. The physics engine is remarkably consistent—which is crucial for a game where a single degree of rotation on a bumper can be the difference between a gold medal and total failure.

The progression is fantastic, moving from simple gravity puzzles to complex setups involving splitters, sponges, and lasers. Enigmo is a 3D puzzle game where you direct animated streams of flowing liquid so that the droplets get to their destination. Water, Oil, and Lava fall from Droppers and bounce around the walls of the puzzle. You move and rotate various types of bumpers, sliders, accelerators, and sponges in order to divert the flow of the falling droplets. The faster you complete each of the 50 levels, the more bonus points you receive.
The physics in Enigmo are truly amazing to watch! This is one of the most unique puzzle games ever created.
In addition to the 50 levels that come with the game, you can also download many more levels for free! As of version 1.1, you can download levels created by other users or by yourself with the Mac or PC version of Enigmo which has a built-in level editor. You may submit your levels to us and we'll include them in the public list if we like them enough.

Walkthrough

Mastering the Toolbox

Each level provides specific tools. Drag bumpers to bounce fluid, slides to guide it, and accelerators to give it a speed boost. Remember that you can rotate items 360 degrees to fine-tune the trajectory of the droplets.

Managing Different Fluids

While water is standard, lava moves slower and interacts differently with certain obstacles. Light beams require mirrors instead of bumpers. Always identify the fluid source first before laying out your path.
