Now this is how you do a mobile game. It’s got that 'just one more turn' hook that’s missing from most of the junk on the App Store. The pixel art is charmingly retro without being lazy, and the tactical depth is staggering. You’re constantly weighing the risk of a harder battle for better loot versus playing it safe.
It’s a bit grindy, I’ll admit. To see everything, you’re going to have to sink dozens of hours into it. But the progression feels earned, not bought. It’s one of the few games where I don't mind the complexity because the interface is actually well thought out. A must-play for strategy fans who don't mind a bit of a sinister theme.
