Drive Mad in IOS

Stupid cars, awful levels

87/100

Drive Mad lives up to its name in the absolute best way possible. It is a brilliant mix of racing action and platform physics puzzling that will make you laugh out loud at your own spectacular failures. The level design is endlessly creative — just when you think you have figured out the physics of your vehicle, the game hands you an articulated monster truck or a car with square wheels, completely upending your strategy.

Because the levels are bite-sized, the constant crashing never feels discouraging. You simply tap to restart instantly, applying what you learned about that particular ramp or trap. The physics engine feels consistent, meaning every victory feels fully earned through skill rather than luck. It is a fantastic casual game that is impossible to put down.

Dinsun Review

Physics driving games have been a staple of casual gaming for well over a decade, and Drive Mad doesn't reinvent the wheel. At forty, I can appreciate a tight, mechanics-focused challenge, but this title relies too heavily on frustrating trial-and-error physics rather than clever engineering solutions. You steer awkward vehicles across staged obstacle courses, often flipping over due to overly twitchy touch controls.

It provides a short burst of amusement if you have minutes to kill, but the lack of true depth or refined handling models keeps it firmly in the mediocre tier. If you want profound physics sandbox mechanics, look elsewhere; this is strictly disposable mobile fodder.

    - Improve usability

Requires iOS 15.6 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

The controls? Dead simple. Right to accelerate and left to brake. The driving? Very challenging. The realistic physics requires actual skill. But as you progress through the levels you'll come to master the physics and pull tricks and stunts that you thought impossible!

With 100+ levels, a tiny install size, fast performance, and offline play, this is a game you'll want to keep around for a long long time.

    Q&A

Voxel trucks are composed of individual breakable blocks; landing squarely on your roof or hitting structural walls at maximum speed will cause your vehicle to shatter.
