The premise of being a dictator is handled with a card-flipping mechanic that feels more like a game of chance than a true political simulation. I find the 'evolution' part of the title a bit misleading. The game doesn't really evolve; it just gets more punishing. The strategic layer of conquering other countries is paper-thin and feels like a bolted-on addition to keep the player clicking. Itβs fine for a few minutes on a bus, but don't expect a deep dive into political philosophy or complex management.
