I don't typically go for 'cozy' idle games, and Cozy Cat Tree isn't going to change my mind. There is barely a game here in the traditional sense. You place a piece of furniture, wait for a cat to appear, collect some heart currency, and repeat. It's designed strictly for passive background interaction rather than engaged play.
The art style is soft and pleasant enough, and the ambient music is inoffensive, but mechanically it is completely hollow. There are no meaningful decisions to make, no risk, and no actual skill involved. If you want a cute virtual pet display on your desk, it serves its purpose. If you're looking for an engaging game with systems to master, look elsewhere.
