Some small problems but over safe and fun

This game is kid friendly and safe but there are a few things you should know if your kid/kids want this game 1. Game can crash often. This is the least problematic bug in the game and can be fixed by changing your graphics. 2. Non active players/guilds. The second problem I have found is some guilds are inactive. A simple fix is to just leave a guild. You do that by going to the guild lobby and clicking on the progress bar to the next level. Click on it and on the bottom left corner there will be a button that says “leave guild” simply press that and you will be able to join another guild. 3. Rude/inappropriate members in guilds. Rarely there will be people putting aberrations of curse words. First option is to leave the guild, how to do that is explained above. Second option is to report them to the guild leader to get removed, that can be simply be done by chatting in the guild. Overall though this game is kid friendly so if your kid/kids want it just remember these things and check often for any people cursing.

The increasing strain to play the game

I write this review with a solemn mind. I have been playing this game since day one, pre-registered and got my free chamomile cookie. I have been free to play since day one. And it *used* to be wonderful! It *used* to be a game that anybody could pick up and play, and the character you played as only mattered in element. Such is not the case any more. This game has become so much harder to play as a f2p player, and even then so much harder to play in general as the developers do next to nothing to optimize the game that I want to play. Because I truly do want to play this game. I do. But every thing, every little thing this game does wrong, adds up to way too much that they're doing wrong. If you're actually reading this review, as either someone looking to play this game, or as a developer; I strongly urge you to take a good look at this cash grab of a game in the face, and ask you to STOP PLAYING IT until it is fixed, and we no longer have to deal with a legendary gacha that ruined people saving up for it, and that f2p players cannot even hit the pity in. STOP PLAYING until we no longer have Strawberry Mochi problems where one character is objectively better than any other in so many different scenarios even after nerfing them. STOP PLAYING until it at least makes sense to even spend a penny on this game, because even when you pay to win, you're only paying for the developers to win.

Good game but crashes a lot

The game is really good, I really enjoy playing it, ever since they first announced about the game development I waited every day for it to come out, I was really hyped for it, and when it first released I played for hours everyday, but now that I have been playing it for some months, the game slowly started crashing more and more, and now it crashes like every 20 minutes or so, I keep crashing during raid modes, during story mode levels, and when I try and use the gacha system, anything I do makes it crash after I play it for more than 15 or 20 minutes, the same happens for me with the other cookie run games like kingdom and witches castle, they all frequently crash when I play the game for too long, they never used to crash when I first started playing, the same goes for this game, I’m just tired of constantly crashing while playing, I tried turning the graphics down but that still didn’t help, please, any devs or whatever, if you see this, fix the crashing, it’s starting to make me not want to bother trying to play anymore, same for the other games too, I’m already starting to take long breaks from playing it because the crashing ruins my mood to play it.

Legendaries are a SCAM

To all who are new to the game, the gotcha rolls on here, especially the legendary cookies are a huge scam, you will pay hundreds of dollars for 1 cookie to not even max her out. The odds of you getting the cookie are almost no chance at all, and the Devsisters will price gouge and bleed you dry just to give you a pity roll. This is horrible business, and is one of the main reasons why most of their cookie run players avoid this game. On top of the fact that once the legendary banner is gone, there is absolutely no way of getting those legendary soul stones or cards. They just vanish completely off the game. Also, there is absolutely no in game currency to get the legendaries once you complete the missions that give you what teeny bit of legendary currency you can get. Also, where are the missions to get rainbow cubes? There are none at all in this game, which means they’ll price gouge you for those too, so you can get their mediocre costumes. It’s such a disappointment for a game with so much potential. It’s truly sad. Hopefully, one day the Devsisters will learn that treating your players fairly will bring you more players and $$$. The game at this point is kinda hard to get into with all the expensive packs and very little chance pulling anything you really want. The Devsisters are having you pay more for less, and it’s upsetting because now I have to put down a game I actually enjoyed.🫤

A little rough around the edges

It’s a fun little game. Can’t say much about the story because I be skipping it; not because I hate it, but because I just want to enjoy the gameplay. The thing that bothers me is that the power requirement for resources spikes. It’s really only the skill resource one. How am I supposed to make my cookies stronger if I can’t even get to the level that holds the materials to make them stronger (the purple skill bottle). The only thing I can think of is the equipment, and even then you can only get so far with that. The other option is the gacha, which obviously requires a lot of grinding if you want the desired cookie. I also feel like this is one of those games where a character needs multiple copies just for it to become good, staring up in this case. That’s a huge downer because it would mean that you would have to focus purely on one character if you want to even be able to clear most content. This causes the gameplay to become repetitive because you would obviously only use your best characters in the story campaign. The story also adds on to that cycle by just being the same stage with just higher difficulties. I still enjoy it, but it just feels like it needs some improvement here and there.

The Champion raid is good but…

When the champions raid got released I was excited as I would get access to new and rare items when I play in the said raids.I would just use a ticket and I will automatically be connected with 5 other players simple as that but just today I was only connected with 2 other people meaning 3 in total giving me no chance to get even a decent score. It also meant that I wasted a ticket because of an actual bad matchup that I can’t get back and while it is just one ticket it always makes a difference especially when you match up with randoms because you never know when you hit the jackpot of a good team.I don’t know if this is part of the update because if it is I don’t like it as this would be bad since the game somewhat promotes playing online with friends or randoms as a team to get an important objective done and how can you do that when the number of people needed for that particular objective isn’t met.I love this game regardless of lag and bugs but I would like to kindly ask if someone can look over the matchmaking system to ensure this doesn’t happen again because no one deserves a bad matchup.

Really good especially if you love cookie run in general

This games great and really underrated. Even some cookies who would’ve been rare are now epics! I love how some cookies got upgraded and how we even have our own unique cookies in this game! Of course it would be nice to get more new cookies but I know it will take awhile especially since it’s 3D. The only “problem” with this game is on mobile you will get kicked out a few times and it can get a bit annoying. But besides that this game is AWESOME. You don’t even get ads meaning you can play in peace! Even better it’s not a game that you would get bored of after a week! People misjudge this game since it’s not very talked about but trust me, PLAYING IS WORTH IT. I became addicted after 1 day and now I can’t stop playing because of how fun it is! Not only that but the costumes for certain cookies are BEAUTIFUL (specifically blackberrys costume) I would DEFINITELY recommend this to my friends because not only is it great. IT HAS MULTIPLAYER, you can EASILY play this game with friends and it’s so fun and cool! But yapping aside this game is awesome and I recommend that you download it and give it a shot. :D
