I respect a good puzzle, and the 'Connections' format is one of the better ones to come out recently. This game isn't reinventing the wheel; it’s barely even changing the tire. It’s a straight-up copy of the New York Times puzzle.

That said, it works. The puzzles are generally well-constructed, and it gives you more to do than just the one daily puzzle the NYT provides. However, the interface is cluttered with the usual mobile junk—coins, hints, and ad banners—that distract from the mental exercise. If you can ignore the generic 'game-y' fluff, the actual word logic is solid enough for a morning commute. I’d still rather just play the original, but this is a decent backup if you've finished your daily dose.
