Colorful Cat Jam is another entry off the mobile assembly line of grid-clearing sorters. Take a standard block jam mechanic, slap neon-colored cats on it, add pop-ups offering extra lives, and you have the complete formula. It plays fast, controls are responsive, and for a quick five-minute break on the train, it does what it sets out to do.
From a critical standpoint, however, it's completely disposable. The design is engineered to create choke points that encourage you to burn boosters or watch ads for extra slots. The difficulty curve isn't about teaching you smarter solutions; it's about artificially limiting your board space. It's fine for what it is, but don't expect anything memorable.
