The meta-layer of managing the studio and ensuring battles look good for 'Audience Ratings' adds a compelling risk/reward system to the encounters.
However, it's not flawless. The difficulty curve is a bit uneven, with the late game becoming overly easy once you optimize your gear. Furthermore, the mobile port can feel cramped; tapping small grid squares on an iPhone often leads to misclicks, making iPad the required hardware.
