If you've played Duet Cats, you'll feel right at home with Cat World Music Game—perhaps a bit too much at home, as it wears its inspirations very clearly. However, for cat lovers, more 'meowing' music is never a bad thing. The gameplay is the standard 'tap and slide' rhythm style, but with the added cuteness of feeding and caring for cats. The ASMR-style meows are surprisingly relaxing, and the song selection covers everything from K-Pop to Anime themes.

The animation is simple but effective, and the leaderboards add a bit of competitive spice. It's a lighthearted, 'kawaii' experience that doesn't demand too much from the player. While the ads can be intrusive, the pure joy of seeing a cartoon cat 'meow' along to an EDM track is enough to keep most casual players entertained. It's the digital equivalent of a stress ball—cute, simple, and rhythmic.

I like cats as much as the next guy, but hearing a cat 'meow' the melody of a Dua Lipa song is funny for exactly one round. After that, it’s borderline psychological torture. The rhythm mechanics are basic at best—if you’ve played any mobile rhythm game in the last five years, you know exactly how this works. It’s a reskin of 'Magic Tiles' with a coat of 'cute cat' paint.

The monetization is the real beast here. You want to play a specific song? Watch an ad. Want to unlock a new cat? Watch an ad. The game is less about rhythm and more about how much repetitive meowing you can take before you delete it. It’s clearly aimed at a younger audience who thinks everything cat-related is high art, but for a serious gamer, it’s just a shallow novelty.
