★★★★★ Great great, but..
Sat May 23 2026 Werno3540This game is incredibly fun. It’s constantly engaging with all of the different worlds and weapons you can use. Plus the events that happen multiple times a day. I enjoy that the events give you great rewards, but I feel like they don’t scale very well with your damage. It seems like the stronger you get, the harder it gets to complete parts of the event. Also, I feel like there should be ways to earn gems. Currently the only way to get gems is to spend real money. Some players don’t want to spend real money, but would like to earn premium currency even if it takes awhile to get to the point of being able to spend them. This game would be a 5 star game if the event enemies didn’t scale as much as they do and if you could earn gems.
★★★★★ This app is just an ad generator!
Tue Feb 24 2026 QuercusbornThis game might have potential, but not with as many ads as it forces on you. The goal is to defeat enemies to slowly upgrade everything. This lets you take on more difficult enemies and bosses, to slowly get other increases. Though as you play, you quickly see that you’re rewarded more for watching ads than playing, NOT cool, NOT fun! Before the update you at least had the choice to ignore the ad icon which popped up about every 30 seconds. (Those ads being anywhere from 30 to 120 seconds long.) Now there is a banner ad across the bottom all the time which you can somewhat overlook, but still annoying because it covers your weapons and armor somewhat. I was leveling, the character was over 650k health and stats around 20k. However, I drew the line when ads just popped up randomly as I was trying to play. At first I thought it was because my thumb accidentally brushed the banner ad at the bottom, and I instantly closed the app to a forced ad. The second time it happened I know it wasn’t because I touched the ad banner. So I closed the game immediately, and deleted it. DON’T GET THIS GAME! It’s a waste of time, even as a time waster! It’s an ad generating drain on your existence. It’s an obnoxious weed in the garden of this one life we have to live. Don’t plant weeds in your life! This app is not worth paying even 1¢ for any unlock in it!
★★★★★ Frequent crashes, cash grab
Mon Oct 12 2026 Yah and hand s dishI rarely write reviews on games in the App Store unless they are utter garbage. This is one of those games. Let me preface this, I played this game for a few hours, I wanted to give it an honest chance and see if it was a good game. Right out the gate killed a few enemies and chopped a few trees. Died for the first time and the game crashed. Opened the game again and died and the game crashed again. Hard to play for more than a few minutes when the game is crashing every few minutes. Again, I wanted to know if the game was worth tolerating all the crashes. It was not. There is not much of a game outside of spending money. 3 minute timers on the first trees and enemies and the timer get longer the deeper you go???? The long timers would make sense if you were making good progress and they actually gave anything good outside of 1 attack or 3 health. The spawn timers in the ad were much better and that version of the game was actually playable. So beware, if you want to actually play the game you have to spend. I didn't spend a dime so I can't tell you how worth it this game is if you spend money on it, but just with the frequent crashes, I'm going to go out on a limb and say not worth it.
★★★★★ Sometimes less is more
Wed Jul 08 2026 SirrSplashSo I found this game via ad playing another game. The ad isn’t as developed as the game. It has a nostalgic Legend of Zelda vibe from back in Nintendo. And I think that’s what I fell in love with! The actual game has better graphics but no where near as fun. The hook doesn’t stretch out and grab enemies at range like the ad. And it moves entirely too slow. I chop all the cactus for stat boost and I have to wait 3 hours before there’s anything else to do. Wouldn’t be so bad if I gained something while being Idle. But you don’t literally just waiting for more stuff to do. I may be an odd ball here… but you guys should make another version of the game JUST LIKE THE AD!! Not uninstalling yet, but it’s probably gonna happen in the near future
Edit: yea I had to drop it to one star. Too much waiting, too slow. Don’t click that pop up ads for increasing heart or damage because it doesn’t even work. You could have put in OPTIONAL ads to speed up the time for enemies and cactus to reload smh. The ad is much better. Now that I’ve downloaded the game tho, the ad doesn’t pop up on my other game anymore. You guys dropped the ball on this game sadly
★★★★★ Has potential, but…
Wed Apr 08 2026 Zephyr DieuI’ve played this for a few weeks now, so I feel I can give an honest review on it. Right off the bat- this game is a simple main character reskin of the Devour game. Same map, same enemies, nearly identical gameplay overall. Second- if you aren’t going to pay for VIP (I haven’t put a cent into the game), it’ll be a bit of a slow grind. Gameplay is pretty fun for what it is, permanent leveling is always nice. Enemies will be a bit tough at first until you get your health regeneration and other stats up a bit. The timers on basic enemies and the environment you can “hook & chew” end up making you wait typically around 5-30 minutes initially for a respawn, (the mini-bosses/item droppers take a bit longer to respawn) but after a few times of taking them out, they become locked until the daily reset. Which means you have nothing but the horribly scaled boss events to try until then. The in-game ads will typically offer better rewards than any single object/person you consume.
This next part is important-
The boss event (when unlocked) is 100% rigged against you. The scaling from one event to the next is absolutely diabolical. Unless you put a bunch of $$ into the game, you will not ever beat any of the bosses past the first few during the event (even while taking out the minions that spawn and give extra attack/defense bonuses against the boss), meaning you miss out on the higher scaled rewards. Every time. Just keep that in mind, as that part WILL disappoint you.
That being said, if they end up fixing the scaling of the boss event and timers on normal enemies down the road, I’d actually potentially spend a few bucks to unlock VIP. In the game’s current state, though, it’ll never be worth it.
★★★★★ Boring
Mon Oct 05 2026 EhpwiwuGame makes you wait hours for enemies to respawn, so basically you play the game for about 5-10 min to kill everything around and then you wait till next day (real time) to do the same thing again just to progress a little, I’m on my third day and I’m uninstalling cause how boring this game is.
I get the dev prob did that on purpose to slow down progression on people who would grind the game for hours, but for people who also actually wanna just play? Well what do I get to play? 5-10 min then turn game off? Ok I might as well find another game to do so.
And for people who says they been playing for hours? Yes that happens on your first day, then time become less and less, first time trying the game you’ll prob spend a good 1-2 hour grinding to get stronger, it’s fun, then very quickly the game just give you a wall to run into, wait hours for respawn, you literally can’t get stronger because there’s nothing to kill.
★★★★★ 2.1 patch is absolutely horrendous
Thu Oct 29 2026 Tamade323With this new patch they took away all gear drops from the boss in Golem event and replaced it with some garbage rewards. Not only that they increased the difficulty of the bosses they implemented compared to the old boss we had before 2.1 so basically they are cutting your progress in the game. Imagine clearing all monsters including the dragons that drop gold weapons, it will take years to even able to evolve your weapons to golden star, not mentioning golden star lvl 5. They didn’t implement the coal mine content to continue the story line, no new event added, completely slow down players progress and they expect people to spend 20 dollars everyday to buy golem spawns because there is no way you could kill more than 120 golems in two hours, I tried, I literally sat there and played two hours trying to get every golem kill possible. This game is done to be honest.
★★★★★ It’s a no from me dawg
Thu Mar 26 2026 RavenWood30I feel like I agree with all the reviews when it comes to the respawn rates. They are WAY too long. This game doesn’t seem worth playing in the long run if I can only play for 10 minutes a day before I have to wait hours for respawn rates. That has to be my biggest complaint. The other main thing is the pitiful amount of XP and stat boost increases that happen when you kill an enemy. Like +1 attack really? If the respawn rates were quick it wouldn’t be that bad. But waiting a whole day to add a small attack boost seems pointless, especially when some of the bosses are crazy strong. I don’t want to have to wait a whole week before opening up another map area because it took that long to get strong enough to clear the boss at the current one. The concept of the game is great, I really want to like it. But the leveling system and respawn rates make it not enjoyable.
