Amazing Game
Mon May 03 2021 Levi SabinIt’s taken me a while to write this well deserved review, but here it is. This is EASILY the best and most realistic driving simulator available on iPhone. It is (as far as I know) the only one that allows you to shift the gears manually, and is one of very few that lets you customize the performance of the cars to the level of adjusting the gear ratios, adjusting the suspension, anti roll bars, and even tire pressure. The only thing that this simulator is lacking is a larger amount of vehicles, and I’d like to point out that the amount of cars is currently has is amazing, it just could be better. For instance, I would love to see more supercar brands in the game, like Lamborghini, Ferrari, and I’d REALLY like to see some Koenigseggs get added. The other thing that could possibly be improved, and again, I’d like to point out that it is already amazing, but could still be improved, is more diverse and realistic car sounds. Again, the way the sounds currently work with the RPM is already super realistic, I’d just like to see more diverse sounds between cars. Now, before I end this review, I’d again like to point out that the game is amazing as is, and is already the best simulator on the App Store, it just has some things that could be made better than they already are.
Great game, but could use some changes.
Mon Apr 27 2020 Damian1115I personally love playing this game. I love the graphics and the physics and the pretty dang good car selection. However there is one big issue(for me) with the car selection in this game. You can't buy half of it. Pretty much all of the cool and nice cars cost gold coins, and the only main way of getting gold coins(once you've completed all "campaign races") is either buying them, or watching ads to get one single coin at a time. I just checked out the new update that came with 3 new cars: the BMW M1, and the new Supra and a race spec version of the new Supra. So I go into the dealership to check out the price and boom, none of the new cars are available to buy with cash. Meaning you can't even grind the game in order to obtain them. The only way to get them at that point, like I said before is buying them or watching ads. I've already put a lot of time and money into this game, and don't think it's fair to the people like me who can't even obtain the cars without having to spend even more money on it. I have no problem with supporting a game, however I shouldn't have to spend more money on it every time there is an update so I can get the new cars.
AR, I love you but...
Sun Dec 22 2019 ILLamentThis game is very great and I love that this update I have received every McLaren. First time ever getting all the new cars lol. But, what this game could use is some sort of system where we could trade certain Exotic import duplicates for cars we aren’t receiving, from the Exotic Imports. For example, what I really want from one of your previous updates is the Rocket Bunny s13, but I can’t seem to get that after spending about 5,000 coins on Exotic Imports. I’m not mad about it, but I just wish there was a way to balance out the Exotic Import system to receive cars that are not in my garage, rather than having duplicates. It would be cool if we could CHOOSE and TRADE (within that class/tier) a higher Tier car from Exotic Imports for multiple lower Tier cars and vice versa. Just to make it fair I guess. I understand that AR makes money from Exotic Imports but save yourself the trouble by doing this!
Shoot, I think it would be even better to put some of your older Exotic Imports into the Token section where Events are played. Do that to create some room for us to obtain more of the NEWER Exotic Imports. That way, Tokens can now have more of a reason to be worked for. Oh and uhh....slide some new rims in the Token area with the cars, I got all the rims from Exotic Imports.
Last thing, more tracks. Just more tracks that can be drifted on and raced on. Love your game AR!
Almost perfect
Thu May 09 2024 Thepunisher141722I praise this game as the ultimate Grand Turismo IOS app. This is the ONLY phone game I have kept & used actively for over 6 years. The attention to detail and the impeccable physics keeps me excited to test over 100+ cars on over 15 tracks. The sheer number of cars to work with keeps a pleasant challenge and excitement. I am fortunate to have most of the easily available cars (after a lot of grinding and hoarding gold for exotic imports) and I’m happy with my range of different types of cars. The modifications are simple yet accurately affect each car differently. The map and mode selection is simple but effective. There are a few things left to be desired however. I wish multiplayer was more reliable (connectivity issues for “quick” races/drift sessions) and the ability to acquire new vehicles/ game modes are time consuming and cumbersome. I wish there were different ( not easier) ways to collect gold and credit besides challenges and series. While many stock versions of vehicles are available to purchase with credits or gold (one is easy to collect & the latter is much more difficult) there are a LOT of vehicles seemingly hidden behind a paywall. I wish there were alternatives (or more frequent/ specific events) to collect the more exotic variants of the available cars.
Fun game but don’t buy coins it’s a ripoff
Fri Oct 15 2021 Guy next to youSo overall it’s a good game I like the physics and graphics and the car list is decent. However the way to get imports is a total scam at this point. I read the thing about the drop rates for each tier of car and that’s cool, what they don’t say is all the special event cars like McLaren and Porsche for example you’ll never be able to get since those events are no longer live maybe they’ll come back in the future or something but as of now it’s basically impossible. I only got this game to get a McLaren 720s and race online against my friends who also downloaded the game but nope. After deciding to spend a nice amount of money to at least get 1 nice super car, however I didn’t get one actually good car just a few low end cars a couple cars I’ll never use at (17 cars in total) and an insane amount of freaking paints that I’ll never use!! I could use in game money to buy paint why force me to use coins that should be going to cars?? I feel like I got scammed and the fact that I just wanna delete the game after playing everyday for hours is a shame. I hope someone does something about this so new players don’t get their hopes up and spend over a hundred dollars to get a car they want to race with only to feel cheated in the end.
5 stars
Mon Jul 23 2018 ThatOneDudeWhoPlaysVideoGamesThis is a pretty fun game and I play it every day but I do have a few problems, problem 1 I know you try to make it a challenge but it would be nice if you could make it just a bit easier to make money. Problem 2 I would like for there to be more cars and I know it’s probably stressful to make them due to the amazing graphics of this game but I think it would be cool if you added more cars like the fox body mustang or the older corvettes or Camaros (or chevys in general) or maybe you could add some trucks like the c10 or SVT lightning, problem number 3 why do the cars understeer so much the FWD cars I could see a bit of understeer but I have to drift or go very slow around just about any corner to not run into a wall or go off-road, problem number 4 in time attack mode it’s nearly impossible to get enough apex touches to qualify and if you do get all those apex touches you usually go out of your way to get them so much you barely get a qualifying time. Well that’s about all my problems with the game but I love this game so much and I give it 5 stars
Fraudulent, yet fun.
Sat Dec 17 2022 HJkrfchhwhtjdcHello there! Here is a very real and legitimate review. This game is very nice, and realistic. The graphics are amazing for a phone app. The racing is super fun! And now here are my personal problems…. The cars are so super expensive that you’ll spend hours (yes hours) grinding the same drift map for the appropriate coin for your favorite car. The starting car is so lame that I almost deleted it instantly. I’ve had it for weeks and I still couldn’t afford an BMW e60. Most maps are generic, and the “best” maps are locked behind a car rating that you most likely won’t achieve. If you need me to state that more clearly: you can only drive most maps if you have the required car rating! To be clear I can also be wrong because I haven’t explored all aspects of the game. Still, I found myself spending most of the time playing drifting around the cargo map for coin. The performance upgrades are lame. You have three options (stock, street, and race I believe) and you already have one. To conclude, most cars are pay to win, and the most affordable are the most lamest. It is still a fun, good, somewhat playable game. However it is definitely 3/5 stars.
Amazing game
Thu Dec 12 2019 Alliance flying game playerThis is one of the best racing games on the App Store. There are a ton of dope cars you can get, and the upgrade system works very well. There are a few things that should get added to the game though, and one that definitely needs to be fixed. This game could obviously use more cars and car brands, and should never stop adding more. There also should be more customization. A system where you could remove parts would be cool to customize cars. Also there needs to be a body work section in upgrades or at least an “aerodynamics” section. Finally this game could use an open world map, in a city or something. It’s not at all necessary, but would be very cool. The one problem I have with the game is the money system. It is currently very hard to get money in the game. You can only get it from doing races, which take much time. I think easier to earn money would make people be able to buy more of the new, unique, cool cars easier, which is half the fun of the game.
Best car racing game
Sat Aug 09 2025 Jtw1991Have patience with this game as it takes time to accumulate cars and upgrade them. The game is the best driving experience as far as physics and a realistic feel. Be sure to tune your cars for whatever goal you are trying to achieve- drift, race etc. make sure you experiment with settings as well for gameplay. I currently found using a controller for this game has made it so enjoyable and easier to control throttle/braking on cars to run quick lap times and have overall better car control. Recently the game has had updates and now I can’t use my controller because it will not allow me to use manual transmission. I have played this game for years and never had a problem adjusting settings to allow for the controller to shift up/down with certain buttons. I even double checked it wasn’t my controller by playing another game that uses those bumper buttons on the top of the controller. Devs please fix the game to allow for manual gearbox so I can use the controller after setup.
Fix this please.☹️😫😫😫
Tue May 01 2018 LogiARPlayzI love your game and all, but I’m writing this review because of the newest update. I really want to try the limited time events but can’t get through one because ever since the update, no matter what settings I am on the game crashes. I have an iPad Air 2 with iOS 11 there shouldn’t be any problems. Please release a bug fix that optimizes performance so I can actually play the game. And btw if I do get into a race, the countdown freezes for a little bit, unfreezes then the needle goes crazy and the game crashes. The reason I mention this is because it makes it seem like a bug not my iPad, let’s just say ima be playing CarX until this is fixed.
Edit: it seems that after a few days of continually trying to play the problem fixed itself, but there are still a few problems such as the special events not restarting and the ui in the special evens is messed up, I can’t access the back button.
Double edit: the crashing started again and I don’t know why, please help.
