Alien Morgue is a brilliant, macabre mix of 'Papers, Please' and 'Strange Horticulture.' It takes a mundane (if gross) job and wraps it in a compelling sci-fi mystery that keeps you hooked. The act of dissecting aliens is handled with just the right amount of clinical detachment and sci-fi wonder. Some of the races you encounter are genuinely creative, and figuring out their unique biological quirks is like solving a mini-puzzle every time.

But the real heart of the game is the writing. The world-building around the idea of 'renting' immortality capsules is chilling and sets a perfect tone for your moral dilemmas. Do you steal an item from a body to pay for your own spouse's chance at revival, or do you follow the rules? The UI is fantastic, making you feel like you're actually sitting at a futuristic desk filing reports. It’s a slow-burn experience that rewards attention to detail and empathy. If you like simulation games that make you feel like a small part of a much larger, darker world, Alien Morgue is a must-play.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. This is... an odd one. Alien Morgue is basically a 'surgery sim' wrapped in a Ridley Scott-inspired horror blanket. The actual 'gameplay' is very procedural—pick up the scalpel, cut here, remove that. It’s morbidly fascinating for about an hour.

The problem is that once the initial 'gross-out' factor wears off, there isn't much here. The story is told through boring text logs you find between autopsies, and the puzzles are often just 'find the right tool.' It feels like a VR tech demo that got ported to mobile because they didn't know what else to do with it. It’s fine for a quick thrill, but it’s not a game I’ll remember by next week.
