Best merge game out there
Sun Oct 01 2023 iPhoneNeophyteI am hopelessly hooked on this game…if you like merge games, you will like this one. There is always something new to conquer and while it definitely gets harder as you go along, and spending money is something you will need to do to progress more quickly, there are a number of reasonable offers that keep the spending more manageable.
Here are some things I learned along the way: merging coins, gems, and keys make no difference - also true when you only need an amount of wood or bricks rather than the high level object to build - the cumulative value of merged items is the same as the sum of its parts. So just collect the low level items when you get them. The only exception to this is when you use stars to complete a merge, but there aren’t enough stars to really make a huge difference.
Some of the side quests are there to just separate you from your money - be sure you need the prizes offered or you will just empty your till of energy.
Not Quite The Game Advertised, but Good
Mon Sep 04 2023 QwsdfvhjhtftbyjdkdkkIf you come into this game expecting the ring twist game shown in the previews and ads you will be disappointed.
This is a merge style game that is Alice in Wonderland themed. As someone who likes merge style games and has played quite a few, this is one of the better ones. There are plenty of fun side things (like the cooking and aspect) that keep it from getting too repetitive and doesn’t automatically merge stuff you put next to each other giving you more control over where you put stuff and less time spent worrying about it or making mistakes. Also the absence of any ads you don’t opt into is a wonderful change of pace.
However there are things that prevent this from being five stars. The beginning tutorial is a PAIN to get through. There are like three pointless text bubbles every single time you do something and it makes getting through the beginning irritating. The other is the layout. There is just a LOT going on there are six promotion boxes to click on and the entire outline of the game it full of clickable boxes. It is kind of overwhelming to look at especially with the apps art style which is already pretty detailed. Neither of these make the game unplayable, but it would be more pleasant without them.
Improvement Suggestion
Sun Oct 08 2023 Denise 35While I understand the purpose of the limited time events is to provide additional revenue for the developer, as well as enjoyment for the end-user, having them run for longer seems would benefit all parties. By giving the end-users the opportunity to progress further and possibly complete them, it would increase the likelihood that end-users would spend some money to complete them, especially if they are close to completing the event. When an end-user is only able to complete a fraction of the event, they are much less likely to spend any money in order to complete it. I’ve seen and experienced this method in other emerge games, and personally spend quite a bit of money in them. Your events are too short to make it worth my while in spending money. Also the limited offers to purchase bonus items (boosts, energy, etc.) should have lower prices to encourage users to purchase them. As previously mentioned, I spent quite a bit of money in other merge games, but your prices are higher, so I’ve only made a few purchases.
Otherwise, this is a great game that I enjoy spending a lot of time in!
Pros and Cons
Sun Jun 23 2024 Tequila6575I have been playing this game for a while now, wanted to give it a fair shake and I can honestly say overall it’s a fun game. However, as others have mentioned if you a downloading it for the ring portion, that does not last long…it is sort of a mini game. I love that the gameplay is continuously changing week after week with these extra side adventures!
The Cons…I do not think you can fully enjoy this game without spending money. I don’t particularly mind spending some money on a game I am enjoying, but this game’s in app pop ups are borderline ridiculous and I haven’t been able to turn them off. Moreover, the further you get into the game, the more expensive it gets! A new Adventure Island just launched and as I am working thru it one of the tasks requires me to pick 72 flowers, each flower takes 85 energy to pull…that’s over 6,000 energy just for one PART of one task!! Oh and you are only given 75 energy a day…you would think the answer would be to buy more energy with coins, however if you refill a couple times, then the coins required to refill your energy begins to double and triple!!
If it wasn’t so expensive, this would be a 5 star game hands down!!!
Bring back the old Mystic Island games and rewards
Wed Jun 11 2025 everynameistakensmdhI miss the old style where you get little gifts for every level you pass and you can still get the Gold chest if you meet level 15 even if you don’t fully win. It makes it more exciting and fulfilling and fairytale island is more fun because you actually get to unlock the premium characters.
The new mystic island system where you only get 10 energy per level are so blatantly unwinnable without purchase that it’s is just tiring. Who wants to play a game they know they will lose? I am maxing six 350 coin refills, even 700 daily and it’s STILL unwinnable in the end. Not to mention it’s becoming even more difficult and long winded to earn coins. It was frustrating already but at least you get the old games after maybe 3 cycles but I haven’t had the old system in WEEKS. There are so many energy wasters like the rotating statue and the random canon that it’s starting to not be fun anymore.
I miss the old circus and the beach and the Chinese new year theme… also the new team system is confusing lol.
Strange…
Sun Jun 16 2024 GeoBK77Honestly, at first I thought it was a pretty dumb game and was going to delete it, not wanting to read all the instructions in order to understand how to play. But naturally being stubborn, I kept playing just to try and figure out what the game was all about. The more I played, obviously the more I understood and it kept getting more and more interesting to the point where I can’t seem to stop playing. Almost like an addiction, and my opinion of the game has completely changed. It’s an awesome game. The crazy thing is, I have spent way more money than I ever would’ve imagined, just to be able to play without having to wait. I went from almost deleting the game, to actually paying my hard earned money into the game. It’s pretty creative, the whole game is pretty ridiculous as well (the story line, the rules of the game, the “how to,” the characters, I mean everything about the game is so ridiculous that it cracks me up. It’s hilarious, I love it!
Fun merge game
Mon Oct 09 2023 wackytoothIt’s a very fun game with lots to do. Quite a bit of variety. However, the ring game shown in the icon and on the advertisements is only a very small part of the overall game.
The game has a few different areas where you can play, and switching between the areas is as easy as a click. If you need materials, there are opportunities to watch videos, trade gems, spend coins, or use real money to obtain the materials. The game cycles through different sub-games, I guess, not sure what to call it. It you don’t finish it one time, then don’t worry, you will eventually get another chance. The biggest problems I have are that I don’t have enough plots of land to put things, and I run out of energy too quickly. But you can get more energy by watching videos or using coins, etc.
I’ve been playing for a month or two, and it’s become the game I go to first when I get on my iPad.
Could be really fun
Tue Sep 17 2024 Heythere34678290I have been playing this game for a while and I think it’s time to delete it. I have reached a point in the game where I basically can’t move forward anymore. The amount of keys it takes to unlock new areas is insane!! 10,000???? It takes so long to get the amount of keys you need to advance. I keep creating characters faster than I can move forward. You can’t even pay money to get more keys. You can pay $30 for like 1,000 which doesn’t make much of a dent in 10,000 that you need. The bonus levels just repeat and get boring. I used to complete or almost complete those every single time, but now I can’t even get half way unless I want to spend tons of money. This game hooked me, but it’s not something you can continue to have fun playing long term, unless you’re willing to pay hundreds of dollars which is ridiculous. The more you play the more boring it gets. I would continue to play if I could realistically move forward in the game but I don’t think it’s fun if it takes a month to get to something new.
Love…BUT
Tue Apr 29 2025 Chynared212I absolutely love this game and can kill quite a bit of time playing. The last update made the game quite trying on my patience and I haven’t been playing as long (I guess that’s a good thing) because of all the POP UPS. I have to close out 8 before playing. And they pop up even if you’re already playing. What’s so infuriating is that those very same offers are on an annoying banner that interrupts the game play screen. Also…the Royal Kingdom ad is soooo long at almost a minute.
The side games are also bad…one uses your normal gameplay’s energy so I don’t bother with that one (can’t remember the island’s name) The timed events are also a waste of time and really don’t have much of an aim.
The game is great and fun to play. Some of the side quests are annoying especially the ones with the helicopter drops which requires more energy to play. I can’t give this game a higher rating because of the constant POP UPS. I do actually spend $ on energy/diamonds so it’s pointless to have pop ups of the offers already on the screen. If I want to buy extras, I already know where to go. I won’t bother purchasing anything else going forward.
Repetitive, Slow, Waiting
Thu May 02 2024 StanselmdocI want to continue enjoying the game, but there’s a point where you realize you’re doing the same thing over and over with very little results and it grows boring and tedious. It takes far too long to merge the items required and game progress goes stagnant. Seriously, I’ve only been playing for a few days and I’ve hit a wall of boredom because I’m not going anywhere, not merging anything important, and when I finally do, I have to wait twenty-four(!) hours to receive the item, and when I receive the item, it gets me only a small fraction of the way toward leveling up or opening new paths. I already have to wait for energy, I don’t think I should have to wait a full day for a single item that took days to create.
Sadly, I even put money into this game hoping I could advance faster, and it only increased my frustration. The side games and quests are entertaining, but not enough to keep me playing the main game. I hope the developers cut down on wait times for items or allow progress to be faster in another way.
