Dinsun Review
This is essentially Toca Life on steroids. The sheer volume of 'stuff' is overwhelming—thousands of items and hundreds of characters. For a 40-year-old, it’s a bit much, but I can see why kids lose their minds over it. The art style is clean and expressive, and the physics-based interactions in the environment are well-handled. You can drag a character into a seat, give them a burger, and change the weather to a thunderstorm all in five seconds. My main reservation is the monetization. It’s 'free to play,' but the coolest locations and items are locked behind paywalls. It can get expensive quickly if you have a kid who wants every new 'pack' that drops. Still, the base game is generous with secrets, and the offline playability is a huge plus for travel.
