Rewards a challenge seeker!
Mon Jul 21 2025 HopHoppipThis game seems like any other puzzle game at first glance, but it really surprised me. It has way less ads than most free mobile games, only playing one after you beat a level, but you can also watch ads to get more pegs, power ups, revives, and extra coins. The trick lies in the fact that, to entice you to watch more ads, every level after the first is VERY difficult. The peg boards are rigged so that you’ll rarely get pegs for the most common color, often forcing you to waste your extra pegs unraveling that color in search of rarer ones. Out of spite, I decided to play without watching any ads, and I’ve had a blast so far. The challenge makes it fun and gets you hooked, and since it usually takes ten or more tries to win, the ads are very spaced out. Add in the satisfying gameplay, cool level designs, and refined controls that make it hard to misclick, and you’ve got a hidden gem of a game. I recommend it if you’re looking for a puzzle game that won’t get stale.
Fun game, god awful execution
Wed Jul 09 2025 sjugiwbcoaoiebsvxFun game but it has way too many issues and I will be deleting it. First the colors are way too similar to each other and its made me lose a level several times. Second the auto zoom out is incredibly irritating. When it zooms out its too small for me to comfortably click colors and I sometimes end up clicking the wrong color but when I zoom in, it automatically zooms me out every few seconds and there is no way to turn it off. My biggest complain is the game constantly asks for colors that are no available which would be fine if there was a way to see the colors underneath the other ones because it would make for some strategy but you can’t see those colors so you just have to blindly guess until you find the right ones. This means I have to watch ads on almost every level and I’m not talking I made a mistake and have to watch one or two to get back on track. I mean i have to watch easily 7+ ads to get through a level, each ad is ridiculously long, and on top of that the game has the audacity to give you ANOTHER ad when you finally beat the level. Seriously, how many ads am I going to have to watch for it to be enough money for you? Stop making levels intentionally impossible, it ruins the game. I will be deleting it now.
Ad crazy
Fri Jul 11 2025 Keyonna HartwickThe game itself would be fun if there wasn’t multiple factors making it unbearable to play. The levels are extremely hard, like EXTREMELY hard. You only get two spots to match three colors of wool. 4 spots for extra yarn to go that don’t match the two spots for the matches to go. You can’t see what color is under the layer you’re choosing. So after you get past the first couple matches, you’ll have 15 or more of ONE color and have to guess where the color you need is, leading to you filling the space for extra unmatched wool to go. Even when you watch two ads to get the other two places for matches, you still end up running out of space for unmatched wool to go. Then guess what? Gotta watch more ads to keep reviving yourself.
Either the game wasn’t well thought out, or it was just made to generate TONS of ad revenue. Pretty sure you’d just make more money on ad revenue if you made the game actually fun to play. Also if you look through the reviews, most of them seem to be paid reviews. One review was saying how good the game is and how it works, then proceeded to say “if the game is not like this, then i’ll change my review.” 😂😂😂 This review is also in the top 5 that’s shown when you look at the game on the app store. Coincidence? I think not.
Uninstalled, byeeeeee.
Fun concept, but too many ads and visual flaws
Thu Jul 31 2025 rob.the.godessThe game is fun and keeps your attention, but it has some frustrating design choices. There are too many ads, you have to watch several just to get through even the “easy” levels. The color palette is also problematic, with OVERLY similar shades of red, brown, and blue. This makes it hard to distinguish between pieces, especially for players with visual impairments or color blindness.
One major gameplay issue is the storage system. There are five storage slots, but the game ends as soon as all five are full. It would make more sense if the game only ended when you actually needed a sixth slot and had no room left, rather than ending the moment the fifth is used. That way a gamer has the option to buy an additional slot for it or just lose vs losing once all 5 are filled.
Overall, the game has potential, but between the aggressive ad model and visual and gameplay issues, I ended up uninstalling. Winning without watching ads or paying feels nearly impossible, especially when some selected colors aren’t even clearly visible in the puzzle.
Has a lot of potential
Mon Jul 21 2025 Ana.z.c.I really like this game. I think it has a lot of potential except I think there need to be a few changes. Firstly, there have been too many times where I’ve taken a phone call or otherwise had to switch apps to take care of something else and have completely lost progress on the current level. It’s annoying when you’ve had to watch a bunch of ads to get so close to completion just to have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. Also I like playing with a low screen brightness and sometimes the colors are so so similar you end up tapping the wrong one. I’m not color blind but it feels like there should be some type of accessibility feature for people who do have color blindness. Also I wish there was a way to turn off the weird slow spinning that happens with the objects. And lastly, did we need to have the weird homeless ladies/dilapidated house element in this game? It just feels so out of place and completely unnecessary! I honestly detest it.
You Are The Product
Sun Jul 27 2025 50ph157This “game” is sort of engaging but you will spend your entire time watching ads. Even paying the $8 to be ad-free just means the 15 second ad at the end of a level is removed, but you are still stuck watching 2 minute ads just to be able to finish the game. You will need to watch 2 of those to open up the extra color catchers, 3 more for extra spools, and an average of 6 helps per level. Eleven 2-minute ads for every single level. No game is that fun!
There is no skill involved, other than precision tapping to get a thin strand of one color instead of the huge block of color behind it. So it is either bad luck or scammy programming that they offer color collectors of exclusively wool in the very center of the shapes and you have to unravel and reveal everything, watching ads to sweep away un useful colors temporarily, just to progress. If you use the helicopter to pull out hidden colors, it will fill up the first collector so make sure it is empty for maximum assistance. Watching that 2-minute ads just for one spool to get pulled out is frustrating.
I am deleting this game because of the sheer volume of mandatory ads.
Waste of time
Tue Jul 29 2025 IndieoogleThe premise of the game is that you have an object made of different layers and colors of yarn. You have an “order” for a specific color, so you tap the color to fulfill it. However, there’s no rhyme or reason behind which colors will appear in the next order, which colors are underneath a layer, or when a piece of the object has multiple layers. This makes it impossible to strategically play this game.
Instead, to complete a level you’re indirectly forced to watch ad after ad after ad. The game doesn’t make you watch ads, but there’s really not much of a way to complete the level without doing so. I think at a maximum I’ve watched around 11 ads to complete a SINGLE level, because each order was for a color that wasn’t visible and you only have so many attempts before you fail.
The game has a cool concept and would be great as a stress reliever, casual game. That being said, it is completely ruined by spending more time watching ads than actually playing the game. I’d love to play the game, but I have had no enjoyment in the multiple attempts that I have made. 2/5 for promise, but horrid delivery.
So. Many. Ads.
Thu Jul 17 2025 bumblebellsssI LOVED this game at first. The concept of the game is super cool and fun, and I spent a lot of time playing it. However, I cannot get past the insane amount of ads. It is actually impossible to beat a single level after the first like 25 without watching AT LEAST 3 ads. I’ve tried multiple different strategies, and it isn’t possible. And these ads aren’t a few seconds. Almost every single ad you have to watch is a minute to a minute and a half. I spend more time watching ads on this app than playing the actual game. It’s ridiculous. Not to mention, there will be 2 boxes up top that are both the same color. You don’t have any that color and your extra slots are full, so you watch an ad for another box. The box is the same color as the other two or another color you don’t have. Another ad. Rinse and repeat. It’s absurd. I loved this game so much, but I don’t think I can play it anymore unfortunately. Maybe if the ads were so much shorter, or if it wasn’t possible to get a new box the same color as the other two you have. I’m not sure, but at this rate, it’s unplayable.
Not a good algorithm
Sat Jul 26 2025 KittenZombiezI downloaded the app because I thought it would be a cute game to play to waste some time however, I spend more time watching ads to get past the levels than actually playing the levels. The collectors that show up to begin with are only two there should be at least three even at the beginning levels. On top of that issue there’s the issue where I’ve gone up to four layers down on multiple pieces trying to get the colors of the collectors however, those colors are buried into the deep layers. To the point that I have had to watch about 15 ads at times to wipe everything clear so I can play. The colors of the collector should match up with the colors of the wool to an extent. There should be no reason why a collector is a color of something that’s not even in the next two layers of the wool. These issues are big enough that while I still think that the game is cute. I’ve been seriously thinking about deleting it. And I’ve only had the game for about two days.
Have to watch 3-4 ads just to finish a level
Fri Jul 25 2025 Abby2811Alright…here’s my honest review of this game.
It was super cute which is what initially attracted me to it. Started off fine…no ads interrupt the gameplay. But here’s where it got really weird.
I noticed that towards the end, when you’re very close to being finished, it’ll ask for the same color twice that isn’t shown. Like if you have cake that’s mostly the color white, it’ll ask you for two pinks. There’s no way to guess which one to choose, so you end up losing, and having to watch ads just to finish. I played the same match, level 2, about 5 times, trying to beat it without watching an ad. I couldn’t do it. The colors would change every time to something I couldn’t play. I literally was forced to watch ads…not just one…not just two…it was usually three. Sometimes four.
It’s actually insane. The money earning is SO low and they ask for SO much just to skip the ads. I don’t recommend this game, I recommend the screw one if you really want something that is challenging but also fun.
