No random ads to interrupt you while you’re playing, only one polite and 100% optional “do you want to watch an ad video?” *after* each game. You can play and get the full gameplay experience for free, and that seems really rare these days. If you do want to unlock purely cosmetic new themes, you can watch the opt-in ads or pay money, but it isn’t required. I really appreciate that the developers didn’t force the microtransactions on the players or lock anything behind a paywall so much. Thank you for this game! I hope it stays like this!
Oh, and I was so caught up in the nice ethical ad practices, I forgot to mention what I like about the gameplay itself! The daily quests are a fun incentive to play, the art style is super cute, the variety of themes is awesome (I like the underwater one best, but the scribble drawing one makes me laugh too), and the music is so happy and catchy. I love it! 🐬

I originally bought Watermelon drop, a game practically the same as this, but I was annoyed cause in the adds it had bananas with monkey faces in it (like in this game) and I thought that was adorable, and so I bought it. But the real game was different! It had no bananas, and no monkeys!! I was utterly disappointed. So I looked for one the same, but with bananas… and this is what I found! Plus, it has DANCING MONKEYS!!!! BONUS!!! And I think it is wayy cuter, plus, it has practically NO ADS! While the other one has an add every two minutes! This game is adorable, SO RELAXING, and yet super challenging!!! I am practically obsessed!! I just LOVE THE MONKEYS!!!!! Please buy this game!! It is AWESOME!! Oh, and I LOVE the music!! Well, there are two music options, (one of which is fine, but pretty boring) but one is so silly and I love it!!! So yeah. I definitely recommend this game! FIVE STARS!!! Wed Jul 17 2024 XD vs ^_^I've been playing Qswatermelon for years, and now I have four kids and a wife who probably has a dartboard with my face on it. I’ve been exiled to the couch, where I sleep under a blanket that smells like Doritos because I haven’t given her any attention. Hooked on this game since I was 17, I haven’t looked up from the screen since. My four kids think my name is "WatermelonWarrior," and they only recognize me by the back of my head.
My oldest son recently asked if I could come to his school play. I told him, "Son, unless it involves watermelons or an epic melon battle, I’m out." Now, my wife shoots laser beams from her eyes every time she walks by. My youngest treats me like a decorative cushion and tries to sit on my head while I’m busy growing virtual melons.
In a desperate attempt to appease my wife, I named my in-game watermelon farm after her. Big mistake. She now thinks I have a secret online girlfriend named "JuicyMel." Last night, she changed the Wi-Fi password and said, "Guess who’s sleeping in the watermelon patch tonight, buddy?"
If you're thinking about diving into Qswatermelon, just know that it's more than a game—it's a full-blown obsession. And sometimes, it's a lonely one.
But hey, at least my virtual watermelon patch is thriving. And I’m pretty sure my couch has accepted me as one of its own.

Fri Dec 01 2023 iluvthis_gameDON NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!! I do not recommend downloading it. It will make you addicted and unable to let go of your phone while playing. You will not want to do anything else in the middle of your game. If you are playing this game during quiet places and you get a watermelon, you will be so happy and scream out, “YES!!!” and everyone will be looking at you awkwardly. All jokes aside, this game is amazing and has barely any ads. You can play in peace without any ads popping up as you place a fruit down, which will probably mess up where you place it. Though, the addicted part is true. I have been addicted to the game ever since I downloaded it, which proves my point of it being an amazing game. Overall, I really recommend downloading this game to play during your free time!
Best of its Style!
Thu May 29 2025 invincible gopherThere are many nearly-identical “watermelon merging” games, and this one is by far the best. The art style is the cutest, the mechanics are the smoothest, and the advertising is the most tolerable. Other apps show too many ads and will even interrupt you with them mid-game, but this app only shows one when you lose, and I don’t mind watching it because I’m happy to help the developers earn some money from the ad deals.
The way the fruits bounce off of each other really tickles me. I don’t know why, I just find it fun. I normally have the sound off because it gets old after a while, but the music and “bloop” noises are cute too. I also appreciate how the skins are colorful but not overwhelmingly bright.
My only feedback: Please keep making new skins, and possibly more ways to earn coins to buy them! I think they’re great and would love to get more.
To those giving bad reviews because they can’t get past watermelon—yes, it’s possible. I’ve done it, as I’m sure many others have. I think being unhappy with your own performance in a game is such an odd reason to hate on the app! It’s not the developers’ fault at all.

Fri Jun 21 2024 123qwerty978So I started playing when this game first came out, and I always wanted to write a review but never got to it. I’ve been playing for a while and got Addicted. I had to delete it. But a couple months later I got it again. I was playing it with my friend and my friend bet me if I didn’t get the watermelon I would had to ask my crush out. I played it for almost a hour. It was so intense. Then I lost. I was one away. So I asked her out. And she said yes. Everything went well. And now she is my future wife. I proposed a week ago. This was a joke I just wanted to make a story. But seriously this is in my top 3 games.

One recommendation you could think about adding to this game is whatever score you get is how many coins you get. Then, you could use your coins for things like (for example) skipping one. Basically like you skip the peach and make a coconut. And like the more you play the more coins you get each time. There could also be things like different rounds and stuff like that. Overall, the game has great quality and is pretty fun. I recommend this game to people who are bored and are looking for a fun and simple game that requires strategy and intelligence. I recommend this game to anyone and I hope they have fun!

Sun Jan 26 2025 TreznarI enjoy playing the game and have been playing a ton over the last week. But no matter what i do I can’t get past watermelon. Is it even possible ? Please respond and let me know if you can… I’m on the verge of just deleting the app as I feel I’m wasting my time. There’s no achievement to getting good scores and I think that’s something the developers should work on. Game gets boring after the same exact outcomes over and over. Once again i genuinely don’t think it’s possible to get passed watermelon to the point I think it’s rigged. Uncontrollable things happen once I get to watermelon mainly with the rng fruit spawns I get after eachother. I had 6 fruits on my board when I got watermelon this last time and didn’t even get another pinaple before something went above the line… I just don’t get it. I would not recommend mainly because of this reason

Thu Nov 23 2023 eWildeThis game is a great take on Suika game. Love it and totally worth the super low ad free price! The only thing I ask is that you please do something with the Next icon. I’m constantly assuming the “Next” bubble is what will drop when I tap, even though I know it’s not the “current” piece. I’m constantly dropping pieces based on the Next bubble instead of the barely noticeably “current” piece. There’s nothing more frustrating than dropping an annoying blueberry when I think I’m dropping a lime (or whatever.)
Please consider making the Current piece more obvious! Thank you!
