★★★★★ so much better and so cute !!
Wed Feb 05 2025 🧁ྀིྀིྀིྀིྀི♫ ᵐᵃʸ 𖦹♡i am a former ac:pc player and a couple months ago i found out that it shut down. [well, i remembered it shut down a couple days ago!] i saw this game and i thought it looked fun!! so i downloaded it. its the same exact experience as the original ac:pc was, but it has NO PAYWALLS!! im so happy about that, because it was a little annoying when there was that subscription in the original one. and now you can just buy it in one single purchase [10 dollars is a bargainnnn] for it! im actually really happy that nintendo decided to make it be no paywalls, because paywalls are annoying tbh— anyways, the game also LITERALLY THROWS leaf tickets [leaf tokens now? they changed it lol] at you! the tasks that the game has gives you so many leaf tokens. and im also really excited about that because i used to struggle a lot in the original ac:pc to get fortune cookies because it was hard to get leaf tickets [tokens now lol]. and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE fortune cookies!!! anyways, i went to shovelstrike quarry to get 20 LEAF TOKENS from the task for going to it!! also, the villagers are just as cute as they were before, they will always be adorable! :3 so yeah! 10 dollars is so cheap for all of this amazing stuff!! im super happy that nintendo made this decision to make ac:pc be even better. thanks nintendo!!! :D
★★★★★ I miss some old features & I wish to add a new one
Thu Apr 10 2025 wowitskat44Before it became “complete” we had other human campers around too we could shop from or add to our friends and also visit their campsites and help them in their gardens. That’s gone now and I’m bummed about it. I miss being able to explore and share and buy things from others. It would be cool if we could buy furniture and clothes from them too if the features ever came back. Another one is buying more tickets when they are gone. I run out of tickets so fast and I feel like the golden “complete” tickets are so sparse. I really miss being able to purchase from inside the app. I miss also having Lottie challenges that either went with the event or cookies released in that time. Also in the Whistle Pass I was under the impression that we would be able to decorate and modify that too, but unfortunately we can’t and it’s bland.
One new thing I wish you guys would add is to have animals on each floor of the cabin. Like 8 slots per floor. That way we can have more friends staying and using up the space we work so hard to decorate. I would like to add this idea to the camper too with maybe 2 characters per floor there as well :) oh and give us the option to buy treats! I love leveling up my characters!
Basically, I wish you guys would bring back all of the old stuff as well and add to it. Cause I was under the assumption that “complete” meant everything we already had and then some. Please and thank you! <3
★★★★★ I love it even more than the original! :)
Thu Dec 05 2024 KawaiiguineapigsI started playing the original Pocket Camp game in 2022, and I’ve been playing it until it was discontinued. I loved the original one- it was like the mainstream Animal Crossing games, but on your phone. The only downside with that one is that some cool features such as picking a camp caretaker and picking extra fortune cookies was something you had to pay for monthly. Well, in this new version, all of the monthly subscriptions are included in the game! I like this game even more than the original because there is so much more to do! The special currency (it was leaf tickets, now it’s leaf tokens) is now much easier to get compared to the original, so you can buy more things. For example, I always had about 20 leaf tickets at a time, but now I have 400 leaf tokens! Some things I’ve always wanted to do in the original was change my camp theme, have a camp caretaker, and get more special furniture without having to save up for months. I can do that now and it makes me so happy! Overall, I really really love this game and I love the new features! I would recommend it to anyone who loves cozy, relaxing games where you can decorate and talk with animal friends! It is definitely worth the money! Thank you for taking the time to read this :) ✨
★★★★★ Every Game Should Be Like This
Sat Dec 07 2024 OpheliaTheGodI was quite literally lamenting over the quiet death of complete paid games, every single game either has in app purchases or you just can’t play without being bombarded with ads. AS SOON AS I SAID THIS Pocket Camp announced that they were releasing a complete, paid app. Bravo, first off, what an amazing game from the very start. I’m so glad you guys made this change and I’m excited to see what comes next. Leaf tokens are so much better than tickets, and they make the game so much more accessible for people who just wanna play a game without throwing money at it. If I could change a few things, it would be this; I’ve always wished there were more actual perks to leveling up friendships beyond 15. Like the ability to maybe craft more special request furniture, maybe in variations? Also, maybe you guys could add the ability to customize and design in the spaces on the islands where other players and their campers used to be? Regardless, this is a perfect game and other mobile games should take note. This is the only mobile game I really play. I recommend it to everyone I know, ESPECIALLY now that it’s a one time purchase! Thank you Nintendo!!!
★★★★★ great game, but there are bugs
Sat Feb 01 2025 lil.boi.sneezeI have had the free one for a long time so when i saw this was coming out, i was excited and i like a lot of the new features. everything's not hidden behind a pay wall, leaf tickets are easier to get, and so on. but there a bug i am experiencing where i can click on all my animals, except the one thats my helper!! its been going on for a few days, sometimes it lets me but it hasn’t in awhile, i cant even talk to my helper if i wanted to because it just pulls up the left striped loading screen but it never loads. i cant click on him, i cant click on the book itself, it will not load either way so my helper hasn’t been able to do what he is meant to do because i cannot gather his collected items. i think this should be looked at! its the only issue i keep encountering, everything else is great! the characters, clothing and furniture, events! i definitely recommend this game, i find it to be funner than new horizons, but i hope they fix this issue.
edit: with events, you can usually give a gift to your favorite animal. my favorite animal is also my campsite helper, i have not been able to interact or change my campsite helper which is very frustrating, i hope this gets looked at soon!
★★★★★ Almost perfect but lacking for the price
Mon Dec 29 2025 Raptor82839This game is definitely better and less money crazed than the previous game but still deleting everyone’s progress and reuploading the game and forcing the free to play players to pay for it is still wrong. And the game is still lacking for the 20$ price tag. The graphics could have been improved and there are many other flaws that need fixed. Like materials. It is almost impossible to keep materials like wood, cloth, and etc stocked up so it is impossible to craft items. The market used to be a good way to get these and fruit that doesn’t grow on your island, but now it has been removed from the game. Also we need to change the fortune cookie system because it takes way to long for them to refresh the stock. Like change them out every day instead of having them on there for days to a week. I don’t care about these holiday items and it annoys me that there is no way to get furniture I want to try to get without having to use a seasonal ticket. Just make the cookies refresh daily. But other than these things the game is flawless. So I would still say it was worth the money since it is way easier to afford everything that would have taken thousands of leaf currency to get in the previous title.
★★★★★ The Perfect Way To Handle A Legacy Title
Tue Dec 10 2024 PokerPenguinsI played the original and was very upset to hear it was going to be removed. I thought that meant it would be gone forever, and all of my efforts in that game would’ve gone to waste. When I realized that this title would be going out in its place as an offline replacement for the original, I jumped on it. There are absolutely NO micro transactions besides the base price of the game - that’s it. It’s incredibly easy to get the replacement premium currency too, and it seems like there will be game updates to this one as well. This makes the title extremely F2P friendly if you can afford the games base price, and the way they handled being able to get older items is genius. No matter when you started the game, or if you’re starting right now, every item from the last 7 years is obtainable, which is so fun and exciting, and opens doors for a lot of creative decorating.
I hope there continues to be updates on this one every once in a while, but this game is near perfect the way it is now, and I’m grateful for the chance to continue enjoying this game. 100% worth the money.
★★★★★ Needs a LOT of improvement, SEVERELY disappointed.
Sat Feb 07 2026 From Ashes Reborn$20 for an app that doesn't save your data/give you access to your account when you delete the app is absurd. I usually don't write reviews but words can't describe how disappointed I am that I spent money on this app due to a lot of removed features that made animal crossing fun such as the market and being able to interact with friends. Not to mention how lazy the developers have gotten. Every month there is supposed to be an update where you get monthly cookies and furniture rotated out which was what made me keep playing. But I noticed that each month at the same time, it it always the same ones. February's cookies this year is the same as February's cookies last year, with not even 1 new cookie!! I understand that it would be a lot of work to make all new cookies every month every year... but not even 1 new cookie a month is seriously lazy. If you are making users pay $20 for this app at least push out some new content or introduce some new concepts inside the game instead of relying on nostalgia and the forced loyalty where you lose your account if you delete the game in order to keep your app alive. It is a horrible feeling to lose the spark and happiness of playing a game you once loved because corporations don't want to put in the work to keep customers happy. DO BETTER. 😐😐😐
