Dinsun Review
Don't let the cartoon monkeys and colorful balloons fool you; this is one of the deepest strategy games on the market. I’ve put hundreds of hours into the Bloons series, and TD 6+ is the absolute pinnacle. The sheer amount of combinations—towers, heroes, upgrade paths, and 'monkey knowledge'—is staggering. It’s a theory-crafter’s dream. Every time you think you’ve mastered a map, the game throws a new difficulty or a 'CHIMPS' run at you that humbles you immediately.
The Arcade version is a godsend because it removes the temptation to buy powers or insta-monkeys. It’s a pure test of your tactical mind. The 4-player co-op is a chaotic mess but in a fun way, though I still prefer the precision of solo play. My only gripe? It can get very cluttered. When you’re on round 100 and the screen is filled with a thousand objects, it can be hard to tell what’s actually happening. But that’s a small price to pay for this much depth. A hard-earned 88.
