Great Game, Not Enough Levels

I paid for ad-free and then only got ads if I wanted some of the tools to help me through some of the more difficult levels. I think some of the levels are unsolvable without some of those tools. Every once in a while I would be stuck on a level forever. I tried for a while to not use the tools but eventually decided that if I got super bored with a level why not just make it a little easier to keep playing. I got really good at the game, so I think a few levels needing the tools is just the way it is.
I ended up really liking the game. Some games trick you into spending money constantly (disgusting!) but this game was straightforward. You pay once and you play. When I needed a tool here and there and had to play an ad, I would just mute the ad or my phone and not look at it for the 30-60 second ad.
I liked that I could pick the bird colors, styles, and backgrounds that I like the most. I was set to coast and sort my colorful birds forever. My problem is that after playing for just a few months, I’ve run out of levels. Level 4,400 is the last level. Now what? Delete and start over?

The levels were easy and it was just one of those cute games that made me feel good… BUT after every successful level I would have to watch an ad… and then to claim my new bird I had to watch an ad… and then to claim my new twig I had to watch another ad… and to claim my new background… you guessed it I had to watch another ad. The one that made me unload the app was when I hit “settings” and had to watch an ad to turn the music off. Took the cake for me… DELETE. For whoever made this game and hoped to profit from the ads… you overdid them. I like playing for free, and will sometimes even buy a game if I enjoy it, but I couldn’t even evaluate whether or not I enjoyed it enough to buy it due to the number of ads. Maybe if you decreased the number of ads I have to watch to get stuff I earned in the game and just had an ad after each level? But definitely get rid of the ad when I open settings… that is just WRONG!!!! Also, this is a $2.99 game and not a $4.99 game.
Loved it in the beginning …
Wed Feb 19 2025 seranna 84750I loved this relaxing game when I first got it. I blasted through the levels and collected the extras offered. It was my go to when I just wanted to relax and think a little. I didn’t pay so I do have ads, which is fair enough. I’ve even considered paying to remove ads, just haven’t gotten around to it. There was just one ad between each level, so, as I said …fair. For the past month or so I can’t even get through a level without a big add popping up and covering the screen. I make a few moves and it pops up. I close it and a couple moves later it pops up again. I haven’t finished a level in quite a while now because it’s just not possible. And now I don’t trust them so there is no way I will pay to remove ads. I haven’t dumped the app yet because I’m hoping they will come to their senses and go back to the way it was. I try it periodically just to see if they have changed it. They have one more chance to make adjustments before I delete the app and find another relaxing game to play. Very disappointing …
Update… I waited a few months and tried again but it is still impossible to play a game without a full screen pop-up interrupting game play. I deleted and was very sorry to do so because I like the soothing game that makes me think a little. Huge disappointment that they find game interruption an acceptable source of revenue.
Ad popups
Wed Jun 26 2024 Ridiculously annoying adsI’ve been playing this game now for many months and not only have I enjoyed it, but my granddaughter has enjoyed it too. It was a simple enjoyable game to play and pass the time. Recently this app has introduced these new pop-up ads that pop up from the bottom up halfway up the screen. You can’t move or proceed in the game until you get rid of the ad and when you do that then another ad pops up. The ads previous to this new change were somewhat intrusive, but not so much so that it would make me not want to play this game anymore. With these new pop-ups happening so frequently, my granddaughter is getting very frustrated with trying to play this game too. I know you want to make money with this app, but you have made this so intrusive and so annoying that there’s just no way I’m going to continue to play this game. I understand that I could probably pay to get rid of all of these ads, but I’m just not going to do that. So, I am deleting this app because it is no longer enjoyable, and I want you to know my granddaughter is going to be very sad. I would forewarn anyone considering downloading this game, don’t do it. The ads are really really intrusive.
Frustrating
Thu Jan 01 2026 spartan galIt’s been probably over a year since I wrote my first review, which I see now I never sent. Well this was still in the cloud, so I thought I’d try it again to see if they improved it…….well, disappointingly…..they haven’t. You still can’t even get through a full game before you’re interrupted with an ad. That’s not what I’m looking for in my games so I’m downgrading my rating and deleting it. Too bad, could have been one I stuck with😩
This game has a level of concentration that would really, really be fun, if you could play it! All the comments about the frequency of adds are spot on! You can’t finish one session, and they think I “…need a break”! You spend more time going from ad to ad than playing the game. Then after you get through an ad you have another one pop up on half your playing screen! I’ve just deleted it. Will try again, maybe, in a few months to see if it’s improved. Otherwise it’s definitely not worth downloading it, which is really too bad because it’s a good concept.
Just another comment - I gave my rating a 2 star, how does a comment that complains about ads get a 4 or 5 star rating? Are the ratings changed????
Great Graphics’s Fun Puzzles
Wed Dec 04 2024 rlh81Great and fun being said I would like to let those who are wondering if they should download this game. I will give you the facts and let you decide. The first thing you will notice is the graphics are well done, the special birds, ie Holiday, country, etc are very nice, I think they are so creative. Now you are wondering about the ads, when you first start there are little to no ads, after the first time they ask you to give a review is when the ads start. First they are just between each game level, this is very common. After you reach level 100 they start slipping in ads during your game. About every 30-45 seconds they say “time for a break” then they give you an advertisement. This is the most underhanded way of making you have to watch an ad. I understand that to have free games there must be ads, they don’t need to dump so many on their most loyal fans/players. I hope this helps those who want to know the workings of this game. I also hope that the developers decide to look into how many ads are put out to play the higher levels. Thanks for lending me an ear.
PS I am deleting this game due to the overwhelming ads.
Ads just killed it
Wed Jul 10 2024 Baws 1I’ve had this game for a few weeks and I just deleted it. I saw all the reviews about the ads but I thought I’d give it a try anyway. Well the game itself is quite fun and the birds are really cute. But the problem is two fold. 1)during your level (on iPhone 11), one half of the screen is cut off but an add. If you hit the close button, slightly wrong, the screen takes you to the ad spot. So you have to close that then go back to the game and try again. Sometimes you are jumping back and forth from the ad spot to the game and you are just trying to remove the ad from your screen. You can’t play the game because the screen is have taken up by the ad spot. 2) you are dealing with regular ads that you have to wait for just like other games. This wouldn’t be the end of the world but it you want to play the actual game. Be prepared to spend 2/3s of your time getting thru the ads and 1/3 time having fun with the game. I’ll spend my time elsewhere thanks.
Ads that block the game!
Sat Sep 21 2024 YogaGal650I recently downloaded this game and it’s the WORST for ads. I understand seeing an ad before every level. But this one puts in ads during the game itself that actually BLOCK HALF THE SCREEN. You can’t access the birds that are under the ad as long as it’s open. You can close that ad, but a minute later another one will pop up in the same place. And g*d forbid you don’t hit the X exactly, or it will open up your Internet browser and open a new window there — and when you close the window and the browser and return to the game, guess what? You get to view another ad before you can return to the game you were in the middle of playing. And some of those ads won’t close at all no matter what you do, so you have to close the app and open it up again, which means starting all over on whatever level you were on — and seeing yet another ad. The game itself is fun but the ads ruin the play itself and it’s really not worth it.
