Stardew Valley+ in Apple Arcade

ConcernedApe's hit farm RPG

Our Site Score

96/100

Stardew Valley is simply a masterpiece, and having it on Apple Arcade is an absolute steal. It is the perfect cozy game, allowing you to escape into a beautifully crafted pixel-art world where your only real worries are whether your parsnips are watered and if you can catch a legendary fish. The transition to touch controls is mostly excellent; the auto-tool selection makes farming chores a breeze, though combat in the mines can occasionally feel a bit clumsy with virtual joysticks.

The sheer amount of content here is staggering. Even after 50 hours, you will still be discovering new secrets, optimizing your farm layout, and unlocking new areas. While there are some minor bugs reported by users—like occasional glitches when riding the horse or donating to the museum—they hardly dent the overall experience. It's a game made with an incredible amount of love and care, and it translates perfectly to mobile.

Dinsun Review

I rarely say this, but this game is nearly perfect. ConcernedApe did what entire AAA studios fail to do: he created a world that feels alive. It’s not just about planting corn; it’s about the passage of time, the community, and the secrets buried in the code. I’ve put hundreds of hours into this on PC, and the mobile port is remarkably faithful.

The conservative in me loves the work ethic the game promotes—you get out what you put in. No shortcuts, no 'pay to speed up harvesting.' It’s honest. My only gripe is that touch controls for combat in the mines can lead to some frustrating deaths, but compared to the sheer volume of quality content here, it’s a minor blemish. It’s a landmark title.
