Mon Sep 30 2019 streakysalmonSome kind of controller is needed when you get to more difficult levels. No description of what items/promotions do which can be confusing. Game is very fun though when you get past that. I had an issue where I had reached classified promotion level but was forced to quit a level due to a bug. The ghosts that have saw blades in their backs had shot some of the blue projectiles that bounce off the walls but they got caught in a doorway. To advance I had to step through, I stepped into it, took damage, and was then transported to an all black room and started to teleport around. Couldn’t leave it so I had to quit the level and lose all promotions. Makes it hard to reach 1 million $ with no promotions and only a few days left. Horror horse is definitely the most difficult enemy. Great game.
No mid-level save

I love the gameplay, the animation is hilarious, it’s fun, it has variety to keep it from getting monotonous, and has me coming back for more... BUT... clearing a floor can take a significant amount of time which increases as you progress. The amount of time a productive member of society doesn’t always have at once. And sometimes you can click back and pick up where you were but if the app has closed and decided it needs to completely reload you lose your floor progress and get demoted. Which is seriously frustrating. Then you waste days of your progression starting from a lower level floor to get powered up again to where you need to be for the higher level floors. It’s frustrating enough it will probably cause me to stop playing shortly. There needs to be a way to save your game mid-floor or an auto save feature so you don’t lose out on all your hard work. I really hope to see an update soon addressing this issue!

Tue Mar 16 2021 Anime_Boi_Let me say, this game is very good in my opinion. It’s pretty fun for me to play, and the game mechanics are pretty awesome. For example, the tickets. Exchanging tickets gives you game sketches! It’s such an amazing idea! This game as a whole, is pretty enjoyable, though there is one bad thing that happens to me nearly every job. The trapped rooms don’t allow me to go back out, and the trapped citizens aren’t freed. After that happens, I have no options other than restarting the game, my phone, or just quitting the job altogether. If you could fix this (unless it’s supposed to happen), I would really appreciate it.
Good game
Sat Sep 28 2019 GpuryeaVery fun to play and flows nice. The graphics are of high quality and you forget you’re playing a mobile game especially if you’re using a controller. One thing that makes this game frustrating is not being able to save the game while playing. So if you have to close the game for some reason, you have to restart the level you were on regardless of how far you were in the level before you closed the game. Also, the items that you pick up have no names or descriptions, so I have NO idea what in the world they do. Please add like some type of item “almanac” or something that can tell me what an item is and does.
We need an upgrade store
Sun Oct 13 2019 Goose95hwFor starters this is my favourite Apple Arcade game, I’m a sucker for ghost busting games. I even am investing in a controller so I can hopefully get better and further.
But we still need a upgrade store and other features.
Still have the semi upgrades when you catch enough ghost. But you gave us the ability to catch money and the only way we use it is to unlock maps. If we had a hard upgrade store that would be so beneficial.
Also can you make a list of what all the power ups do?
And the different colours of Jon’s in the map? Is it just more difficult or what? Not a lot of informational pieces in play.

Thu Nov 21 2019 Lingrush24Overall, I find this game fun and addictive. But it’s really annoying when I’m almost finished with a big battle, and then I accidentally walk through a door (space is tight) and have the room reset, wiping out a few minutes of progress. Please either don’t reset the room, or seal the room until it’s cleared. Also, it would be nice to be able to reroll quests, because the only reasonable way to finish a “ complete job” quest is by grinding on the lowest level, which is less fun. Fix these issues and I’d be glad to add a star.
Fun concept but brutal to a beginner
Thu Sep 23 2021 Beck_tooI love the aesthetics and the concept of the game, but as a casual gamer the difficulty level is straight up punishing. I have replayed the first 30 days 3 times now and cannot make any more progress than that due to how easy it is to die and lose everything. In my opinion without a separate remote the controls just aren’t fine-tuned enough to allow the type of speed and accuracy you need to be successful at this game in a mobile format. I wish I could say I will be keeping it downloaded but it was just too frustrating for me personally to continue to enjoy it once the novelty had worn off.

After the update to version 1.5, the game crashes while entering the last area (the final showdown).
It also burns a day when it crashes.
I’m done with this game.
UPDATE:
After the recent update (around 26th of September),the game crashes, particularly during the new bosses. Makes it pretty much unplayable, since you lose all of your upgrades after the crash.
I admit to having spent hours playing this game. It’s really diverting, and I definitely recommend it. The graphics are cute, the sound effects are nice, and the overall feel is good.
There are a couple of problems, though:
* The beginning levels are too hard to get through without resetting all your progress. That’s super frustrating.
* It’s sometimes difficult to leave some of the park “rooms”, particularly when moving down or to the left.
* By far the biggest is that if you have to put the game in the background and it gets terminated YOU LOSE ALL YOUR HARD-EARNED ABILITIES! If it weren’t for this one issue, it’d be a four or five star game.
Game Breaking Issue
Sat Oct 05 2019 JamesZaThe game itself is incredibly fun, the art is great and the dialogue is funny and well thought out. However, if the game gets exited by the system to save memory all of your hard earned upgrades and items are lost. It’s not a short game so this is a MAJOR oversight. It’s very surprising that such a well made game featured in Apple’s Arcade would not have such a simple feature as saving all of your progress. I hate giving bad reviews because I know the amount of work that goes into even the simplest program, but after putting a good chunk of time into the game it’s frustrating. I’ll be watching for updates and then give this game the credit it deserves.
May Be My Reason For Keeping Apple Arcade
Sun Jan 05 2020 Andy_R.This game is simple yet really fun. The story line is entertaining and the gameplay is easy enough to pick up almost anytime. I’ve already noticed a bug that when I shoot objects sometimes the money or object that pops out drops in a location where I can’t pick it up. Please fix that.
All in all a stellar game that’s worth your time to try out.
